Creating a comprehensive online and printed resource for Easterseals DC MD VA staff to enhance their intergenerational programming. To prepare, we analyzed the site’s organizational culture, schedule and physical space. The resource included best practices for intergenerational interactions, suggestions for implementation in their specific setting, evaluation tools, and an activity bank searchable by theme.
Working with Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, coaching parishes and schools on developing multi-generational relationships to achieve their goals: building stronger Catholic communities and expanding capacity to address needs in surrounding neighborhoods.
Developing a curriculum for Hadassah to help their members learn meaningful ways to connect with their grandchildren, thus empowering them in their roles as grandparents and cultural elders.
