ETA’s Impact
We strengthen the community through:
ETA’s School Readiness program Connections pairs caring older adult volunteers with preschoolers and their families for 20 months of weekly one-on-one sessions focused on reading, curiosity, and confidence. Working together, they build a strong foundation for school success and a lifelong love of learning.

ETA’s Community Empowerment programs bring people of all ages together to build understanding, reduce isolation, and strengthen community ties.
Projects include:
- intergenerational conversation groups
- youth concert performances for older adults
- a teen-run email newsletter with inspiring quotes
- older adult wellness discussion groups, & more.

ETA’s Workforce Development programs connect teens and young adults with experienced adult mentors who provide workshops, coaching, and real-world skills in communication, financial literacy, career exploration, and job readiness.
Each year, hundreds of students gain the confidence, tools, and guidance they need to imagine their futures and take the next steps toward success.

Empowering the Ages continues to grow and evolve each year, because no matter how our community changes, the power of intergenerational connection makes it stronger… Join us in building what’s next!
