BOARD PRESIDENT

Janis Tabor moved from Hawaii to Montgomery County with her Navy family right before starting second grade. After college at Frostburg State and the University of Maryland College Park, she took advantage of DC career opportunities and began a long career in congressional and legislative affairs, public policy consulting, and nonprofit leadership, seasoned with lifelong learning. She found ETA when looking for an opportunity to volunteer with programs for kids, and what she experienced was excellent. She is dedicated to bringing her skills and experience to help ETA continue, thrive, and grow.
